Hello there, I hope everyone is doing well and ready for Spring. I know most of us over here in the Mid-West are soooo ready for outdoor activities. As much as I would love to stay in and lock myself in my craft room, It's just not possible. Especially since my Granddaughter is asking everyday to go to the park. So welcome Spring!

So as I was thinking of Spring, I thought of one of my favorite flowers, which is the Millinery flowers. Too bad I can't find them at  the local stores, I usually have to order them online. So I thought I would figure out a way to make them myself. I pulled out one of my Spellbinders die, "Peony", and I was able to make a cute little dup. I had lots of fun making them. Some of the supplies I used were stamens, Tim Holtz distress inks, McGill flower shaping tools, Glossy Accents, Prima chalk edgers in White, and some handmade papers or just regular card stock. I will ad a link to the YouTube tutorial on my channel. If you have time, I hope you will take a looksie. Have fun and be blessed and Thanks for watching. Big hugs, Carmen

Happy New Year to You.

Hello, I know that it has been so long since I last posted. I am so sorry, My new year resolution is to be more active on my blog. I have been extra busy with working at the office. My husband and I Pastor a church and I also work in the office. I also babysit from time to time. I have 4 grand children, what can I say.

I hope everyone is enjoying the new year. My prayer is that The Lord will bless you and your family tremendously. Live, Love and Laugh. Enjoy those around you and cherish every moment with them.

I wanted to share a card that I made for a friend. I know that I am a little late with this card. I colored the image a while ago and I just had to use it. The image is a Whimsy Stamp Art by Mi Ran collection. It is called "Letter to Santa" I just love it. I colored her with copics and added some glimmer with my wink of stella pen. I also added glossy accents to the boots. The papers that I used are from Pinkpaislee, City Sidewalks. The sending happy mail stamp is from Simon Says Stamps and it is called, Sending Happy Thoughts. The base that I used for my card is a corrugated card from Michael's. Love how it turned out. I hope you enjoyed it also. Thanks for stopping by and May God bless you, Big Scrappy hugs, Carmen
